Lesson one:
There are cards that are never worth playing
They exist to make space and confuse everyone
Lesson two:
If you’re ever gonna’ win, you can’t just play not to lose
When everybody else is going for the gold,
You’re afraid you might fail
-Afraid to reach out
But if you wanna’ be a big man,
You’ve got to concentrate and never give in
Why are you here if not to celebrate?
Go catch your moment
I wanna’ see just who you can be
What will you do to learn the lesson?
Give everything, the movement brings change
What will you do to learn the lesson?
Put every fiber of your being on a pedestal,
And don’t let it down,
Just watch it evolve
I wanna’ see just who you can be
What will it take to make it: lesson learned?
Pick up the bat and take a swing
What are you waiting for?
You’ve got to make your own value
Don’t even think this is all you’ll ever be
The war has just begun!
You’ve got to make your own value
I wanna’ see just who you can be
What will you do to learn the lesson?
Give everything, the movement brings change
What will you do to learn the lesson?
Put every fiber of your being on a pedestal,
And don’t let it down,
Just watch it evolve
I wanna’ see just who you can be
What will it take to make it: lesson learned?
So, if you wanna’ be a big man,
You’ve got to concentrate and never give in
Why are you here if not to celebrate?
Go catch your moment
Don’t justify it with logic and reason
Separate thoughts are running
This is elevation
This is how you seize the day!
Go catch your moment!
This is how you seize the day!
The first album I've listened to from this guy, on his youtube channel. At first I wasn't sure about how I liked it, but Umber Tower sold it to me, and I eventually came to love all of his music. I FINALLY got around to buying all of the albums! Yay! My other favorite has to go to Umber Tower Donald Wilson
This is my favorite album from Hungry lights, because it sounds fucken cool. As well as the story of Prill overcoming the three gods "miraculously" since he cannot die. Zizbaja
